Not really a compliance article, but actually really interesting about Petflow.com, a online pet food delivery service. I really respect what Alex and Joe have done with their business, and frankly how they treat the rest of the industry and everyone they know. Thanks buds!
I have to admit, my favorite quote from my article is:
When anyone mentions Petflow.com, there is always a comparison to the extremely famous downfall of Pets.com. Zhardanovsky thinks that there should be no comparison, saying that “the core focus of PetFlow.com is fundamentally different than that of Pets.com” and that “according to Julie Wainwright (The ex CEO of Pets.com), Pets.com only carried approximately 600 SKUs of pet foods out of their base of 15,000 products. While Pets.com carried many interesting accessories and toys for pets, these products are not essential and are not bought on a regular basis.”
Of course, everyone also knows that part of Pets.com downfall was the $2M SuperBowl-commercial, plus their sock-puppet’s notorious drinking binges in Vegas. Petflow.com promises to do neither of those.
