I am Pace Lattin.
I am the founder of several publications in this industry, including ADOTAS (which I no longer run) and and at one time, many years ago ADBUMb. Founded in 1999 ADBUMb was the first interactive advertising “blog” of sorts, which was mainly filled with my own commentary and insight into the industry. While at the time it was panned for being a bit obnoxious, it gained an enormous following in the industry. Since then many similar blogs have come, all with the same type of attitude and writing. I believe that while positive spin is often good, sometimes it takes someone to “call out” the real issues in the industry for there to be real change.
I have worked at half a dozen companies in this industry, and have been involved with all aspects from brand sales to direct response arbitrage. Projects which I have been intimately involved with include SPRINKS which was sold to become Google Adwords, one of the most successful advertising programs ever and the DoubleClick Exchange.
I'm a lifetime member of the Libertarian Party.
I'm a NRA, GOA and RMGO member.
I'm a member of the ACLU
I've worked in Interactive Advertising, Law Enforcement and Civil Rights.
I'm a former Orthodox Jewish Rabbi & Current Zen Buddhist.
